At Optimum Personal Care, we have a compassionate team of dedicated and experienced caregivers on staff 24 hours a day to help residents with their daily activities of living. We are looking for compassionate people who love to serve the elderly. We have a friendly work environment where we support one another. We work as a “team.” There are two caregivers per side. In addition, we have Lead Persons, Supervisors, and Medication Managers who all assist in caregiving daily. You will never work alone.
In addition, Management encourages staff to get additional training and will support your efforts in becoming a CNA or Medication Aide. We actually had one staff member who received her RN license while working at Optimum Personal Care. This position requires that you accept the responsibility for the total care of each resident in your assigned Group for all activities of daily living. You will be accountable to monitor the activities and behavior of all residents in your Resident Group so that the services, care, and treatments of each resident are appropriate and delivered in a continuous, predictable, and efficient manner to them.
Assume cleaning responsibilities for all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis. Keep all areas of the community clean, neat, attractive, and safe for residents, guests, and team members at all times.
