Assisted Living Food Menu For Elders
Mealtimes at Optimum Personal Care are important, just as they are in any home. Your loved one will enjoy meals with other residents and staff in a family-style dining room. Our staff understands the important roles proper eating and nutrition play in the overall health and well-being of your loved one. To support that belief, we provide assisted living food menu for elders with three nourishing, home-cooked meals and two snacks daily to support the physical – and mental – health and well-being of our residents. We offer encouragement and assistance (when needed) to ensure our residents fuel their bodies at every meal. Our staff can measure the dietary input and output of each resident by offering personal feedings as well as one on one feeding daily. We ensure residents have adequate hydration and encourage water intake throughout the day.
Best Quality Care
A nutrient-rich daily diet is vital to increase mental acuteness, greater energy levels, a healthy immune system that has greater resistance to illness, faster recovery times, and better management of chronic health problems and disease.
We work closely with a registered dietitian, and follow the USDA’s food pyramid for older adults to provide maximum balanced nutrition. We can also accommodate special dietary restrictions or requirements such as diabetic, low-salt, or kosher diets. Combined with the fact that all meals are prepared onsite fresh daily, you can be assured our meals are as delicious as they are balanced and nutritious.
